Tawseleh
Terms of use
These terms describe how Tawseleh works in Jordan. Draft operational copy — confirm with your legal reviewer before treating it as final.
What Tawseleh is
Tawseleh is a matching and communication platform. We help passengers find drivers who are already heading the same way, and we help drivers fill empty seats. Tawseleh does not employ drivers and does not provide transportation. The journey arrangement is between the driver and the passenger.
Our role
Tawseleh may verify documents, moderate users, investigate reports, and restrict or block accounts. We take safety reports seriously. These terms do not say Tawseleh has zero responsibility in every situation.
Who may use Tawseleh
You must be at least 18 years old. Drivers must hold a valid driving licence and complete verification. At launch, only individual drivers may publish rides. The account owner must personally drive the verified vehicle. Fleets, company accounts, shared logins, and publishing for another driver are not allowed.
Price and payment
The driver chooses the contribution price. Tawseleh does not set a general or route-based maximum at launch. You see the price before you book. After a booking is confirmed, that price cannot be increased unless you voluntarily agree. There are no hidden Tawseleh charges and no advance payment through the app. Payment is handled directly between the parties, normally in cash. Tawseleh does not process, hold, refund, guarantee, or collect payments, and takes no commission — the service is free at launch.
Cancellations
If a driver cancels a confirmed ride without a reasonable cause, we cancel that ride, notify passengers, and may restrict publishing for seven days after a support review. If a passenger is a confirmed no-show without a reasonable cause, we may restrict new bookings for 14 days. Reasonable exceptions include accident, medical emergency, vehicle breakdown, road closure, severe weather, or a credible family emergency. Repeated or serious abuse may lead to a longer restriction or a blocked account. Support must confirm a violation before a restriction is applied.
