Privacy

How Tawseleh handles personal information. Draft operational copy — confirm with your legal reviewer. We do not claim automated deletion jobs that are not built yet.

What we collect

We collect the account details you give us (name, phone, email, date of birth), ride and booking records, device tokens for notifications, support messages, reports, and driver verification documents when you apply to publish rides.

Account deletion

You may request deletion from your profile. We freeze login and revoke devices immediately (status: deletion requested). An admin then checks open rides, complaints, and legal holds. After that review we anonymize unnecessary personal fields and delete unnecessary driver documents, then mark the account deleted. We aim to finish within 30 days unless a hold applies. We do not hard-delete ride, booking, report, or audit history.

Retention targets

These are maximum / target periods — some cleanup is still manual: rejected driver documents 90 days after final rejection; approved driver documents while approved plus 12 months; ride and booking history 3 years; safety complaints and evidence 3 years after closure; ordinary support conversations 12 months; OTP/security logs 90 days; application logs 30–90 days; backups 30 days. Records needed for an active legal or safety matter are kept until that matter is lawfully resolved.

Sharing

Other users see limited public ride details. Phone numbers, plate numbers, and exact meeting points are shown only to people who need them for a booking. We may share information with authorities when the law requires it.
